Open https://editdocx.net/editor/, drop a Word or Excel file, edit in the tab, and download. There is no trial clock, email gate, or paid upgrade path today. Ctrl/Cmd+S stores a checkpoint in this browser profile only — it is not OneDrive AutoSave and it is not a file in Downloads.

## What is not included

EditDocx is not Microsoft Word or Excel. It does not support charts, SmartArt, OLE embedded objects, macros/VBA, pivot tables, spreadsheet images, or password-protected / encrypted Office files.
